To-Do: Create a list: Make daily (or weekly) lists of things you want to accomplish in and out of work.  You’ll be amazed to see how much more you get done when it’s staring you right back in the face.  Don’t believe me?  Try it out for a week.

.Up until recently, I’ve always been someone who attempts to remember everything I have to do for the day (even the week) and hope I don’t forget anything.  This has actually worked out better than one might think, and I’m sure many of us are in the same boat.  I quickly have come to find out that working full time and trying to do some major projects on the side (i.e. creating a active blog and researching the road of entrepreneurship) can quickly overload the memory bank.

.In an effort to try new things, I’ve recently begun making lists to keep track of things I want to get done on any given day.  I can’t tell you how much it really does help to visually see what you want to get done for the day or even the week.  If you find yourself going post-it note crazy though, try getting a whiteboard as I plan to do.  Not only does it look snazzy, but it’s a good way to centralize all those tasks and notes — and it makes updating things a breeze!
