No one likes getting rejected from a job interview. We’ve all be there, but what do you do when you are fresh out of college and rejected from over 40 jobs in a row? Well, if your name is Daniel Seddiqui, you simply take to the road to pursue 50 jobs across 50 states in 50 weeks. You heard right! Instead of letting failure get him down, Daniel decided to pursue a cross country job search, which has gained much media attention and become quite popular online. Read on to see how he is doing it.
From a Park Ranger in Wyoming to a Bouncer in Louisiana, Daniel Seddiqui has taken failure and turned it into numerous opportunities for himself. At the time of writing this, Daniel will have just completed his 50th job in his 50th state in his 50th week of his cross country journey finishing up in California. After traveling the country on this unique journey, Daniel currently has numerous full time job offers available to him. Despite those job offers though, he says he has no plans to head back to work any time soon. Instead, he plans to write a book about his recent year long experience in hopes of educating and motivating people of all ages on the different career lifestyles America has to offer.
Here now is my favorite interview with Daniel as it explains in short exactly how he landed all the jobs (2 min.):
