couponchief How To Become A Money Saving SuperheroImagine being able to shop for the things you want and get them at a cheaper price than everyone else!  You might say one would have to have superpowers to pull of such a feat.  Well, with online startup Couponchief.com in your tool-belt, you can easily become the superhero of saving money and the envy of all your friends.  Why you won’t be able to jump buildings in a single bound or fight off 30 bad guys at once, you will be able to save a lot of money shopping for all the things you love to buy online.

CouponChief.com Delivers:

Couponchief is a free online service that offers daily discount coupon codes to a variety of popular online retailers including two of my favorites (Newegg coupons and Amazon coupons).  Many of you are probably familiar with similar sites, but the one thing I really continue to like about this service is the simplicity and ease of use.  Most other discount code sites provide you with so much ad information mixed in or codes that don’t work, that it becomes more of a pain to search for savings.  This service though lets me quickly and easily grab the discount code I am looking for so I can be on my way.  Take a look at this video that provides a quick overview of how it all works.

I encourage you to take a look at this money saving startup the next time you need to purchase something online as I think you’ll find that it makes shopping for discounts a whole lot easier.  As an added bonus, the entrepreneur behind this clever service also offers a program where they will donate to your favorite charity through the use of their coupon codes.  So you can be a real hero by helping others in need right from your home PC.  It’s that easy!

dreamhost inexpensive web hosting 300x214 Inexpensive Web Hosting Through DreamhostEveryone wants to find inexpensive web hosting for their site.  Once you’ve decided to get a website, one of the first things we all do is to try and find a quality hosting provider at an affordable price.  I’ve used a variety of hosting companies in the past from Host Gator to Bluehost (and beyond), and the one thing I can tell you from my past experiences is the importance of not only finding a inexpensive web host, but also finding one that can deliver equally with quality customer service and support.  Most people don’t think about the second half of that statement until it’s too late and then have to deal with a headache of issues time and time again.  Well, I can tell you from first hand experience that Dreamhost not only offers inexpensive web hosting, but they also offer excellent support and services to their users!

Getting Much More Than You Paid For:

I have no problem supporting and endorsing something I truly believe to be a good thing (I wouldn’t do it otherwise).  After two years with Dreamhost and a variety of other web hosting providers to compare them to through my past usage, I can say without a doubt that Dreamhost will continue to be my choice for reliable web hosting for several reasons:

  • Low Cost: Basic hosting package is only $119 per year (less than $10 a month!) and includes 1 free registered domain with it.
  • Tons of features: Unlimited email, unlimited storage space, and support for almost ever web service under the sun! – no joke!
  • One-Click Installs: Easy one-click installs for WordPress and other site services (15 minutes for a complete automatic setup!)
  • Reliable Customer Service & Support: I’ve had my site go down only once in the past two years and it was back up 30 minutes later.
  • 1st Year Discount: Google “dreamhost discount” and you can always find a coupon code for your first year 30-40% off!

This short list only sums up half of what Dreamhost has to offer.  I didn’t even mention the low cost $10 a year domain cost or the free domain renewal you get each year for one of your domains.  There are just a lot of little things in addition to the big things that really make Dreamhost a great and inexpensive web hosting solution for anyone out there.  I encourage you to check it out today and finally get that website you’ve been thinking about up and running (or at least grab the domain)!  Get your Dreamhost account here!

There comes a point in every entrepreneur’s career when you will have a project that you can’t do on your own whether it be developing  a awesome web app or setting up your new website.  Also, there simply might just be things you know how to do, but don’t want to have to do because you’ve done them 10,000 times before!  That’s where oDesk.com comes in.  oDesk is a online community and tool used to outsource work where one such as yourself can hire someone to do just about anything from designing a website to researching your next book!

Find a freelancer:

I’ve been using oDesk for several months now and can easily say without a doubt that it’s by far the best small business job site to find a freelancer when you’re looking to hire someone whether it be short or long-term.  I have personally hired 4 different people for 4 different projects now on oDesk, and it couldn’t have been any easier.  From posting the job to paying for the the completed work and every step in between, I can confidently say that I had no troubles thanks to the excellent site design and helpful community.  To really show you just how oDesk works, take a look at this enjoyable video I found, which explains the oDesk experience perfectly:

I’ve recently launched a mobile app company with two friends and currently we are working with a developer to code our mobile application since none of us have any actual iPhone coding experience.  Once again, it couldn’t be an easier process.  So whether you’re looking to find a freelancer to help you on a project or you’re looking to make some extra money as a freelancer, oDesk has you covered and doesn’t cost a penny.

Before I make a purchase I always search through the list of online discount coupons to see if I can snag some additional savings on that latest gadget I just have to have.  Many regulars who shop online partake in the world of promo/discount codes when shopping, and it often time seems like offline coupons and discounts just can’t compete with the ones found online.  Well, that all changes thanks to one new internet startup who aims to bring some serious life back to the local discount coupon scene.  I was recently invited by a friend to try Groupon.com, and in short all I can say is wow!

Offering Online Discount Coupons Offline:

To start, the way Groupon works is by providing you with a super cheap daily discount to a local public place such as a restaurant or local event.  You then choose whether to buy the daily discount, which locks in the advertised discount price for you to use offline at that location whenever it is convenient for you.  For example, I was recently offered a coupon deal for $16.00 worth of food at a popular local restaurant for only $8.00.  I bought the coupon for the $8.00, which I can now print out and use at the restaurant anytime I want.  It’s that easy to take online discount coupons and use them offline locally!  The video below might help put the whole Groupon experience into perspective for you in about 30 seconds:

I am all about technology and saving money.  So when I get a chance to share a service that merges to two together, I most definitely am going to take the opportunity to share it with all of you.  I’ll  end today’s post with my favorite part of the site, which has to be the daily email (optional) it provides you on the local discount of the day so you never miss a deal and don’t have to remember to check the website everyday – a true time saver!

Get your free Groupon account today and start saving on all your favorite local places!

Timothy Ferriss 4 Hour Work Week Expanded The 4 Hour Workweek ReviewI share the dream of many who one day hope to be able to leave big business behind in and start their own small business doing something they are 110% passionate about.  Like many who feel this way, I continue to spend many hours and late nights reading, researching, and experimenting in the hope of finding that one business idea that is going to take off.  As part of this ongoing journey, I recently read the book titled The 4-Hour Workweek written by Tim Ferriss.  If the title alone wasn’t enough to draw you in, the subtitle “Escape 9-5, Live Anywhere, and Join The New Rich” will most likely grab your full attention.  The question though is does the book live up to the promises it makes?  Keep reading for my full review.
